Both online training and physical books have different benefits. Physical books can be good for focused study and note-taking, while digital resources (online courses, apps, mock tests) often offer interactive practice, immediate feedback, and convenience, closely simulating the computer-based PTE exam experience. A combination of both is often the most effective approach to prepare for the PTE exam.
