Should I pursue a B.Sc course or drop a year for MBBS entrance?

Recently, I gave an attempt to NEET and JIPMER. But, I didn't qualify JIPMER. I scored 48.9% as I belong to UR category, it's qualified percentile is 50%. Now, I have decided to drop a year and also in the midst of preparing for next year, I have planned to do B.Sc psychology. Will it be possible?
