In my opinion, you should opt NIT Surat for chemical engineering because NIT Surat provides good quality of chemical faculty members and good course curriculum.

Surely, Chemical at NIT- Surat, because it is one of the best Institute for chemical engineering.
By the way, you should follow your interest and passion. If your passion is to code, go for CSE, IIIT Kancheepuram. If it is chemicals and reactions, NIT-Surat chemical is the best choice. Placement of chemical NIT,Surat is overwhelming. And, there is a matter of Tag too. Branch switching facilities is available at NIT-Surat, after a year on the basis of your performance and on your new interest you can change the branch.
While in IIIT, if you got to change branch, it will be again a coding or circuit branch.
