Should I pursue civil engineering from IIEST, Shibpur or mechanical engineering from NIT, Durgapur?

NIRF ranking is not everything. NIT Durgapur ranks 47 and IIEST, Shibpur ranks 30. I will suggest you to go for Shibpur if you are interested in civil engineering or else if you are interested in mechanical engineering then choose NIT Durgapur. If you are not stream biased then choose Shibpur. Why?
