Thapar University is one of the best universities in India. You should go for Integrated course B.Tech (CSE) + MBA. It will give you two benefits. One it will save a year for you and second you will get a post graduate degree. Other benefits would be that you may need not require to prepare for CAT and other exams and think of getting a good college afterwards. It is already one of the top universities. Thus, this course has a good career scope and placement is also good in this university.

B.Tech (CSE) + MBA is the better than civil engineering because in the present time, scope of IT sector and jobs in software companies are more which require CS engineers.
