To become commercial Pilot, one has to be minimum 10th pass with maths, physics and English. He should be able to clear aviation grade medical tests which include heart, eye, color blindness, low frequency hearing capabilities etc.
It is wrong to assume that most people prefer abroad training as it is costlier there compared to India. However, after obtaining CPL, one has to go abroad for multi engine instrument rating and type certification.
Admission in any Indian or abroad Flying Training is easily available, provided you clear medical test and ready to spend about Rs.35-50 Lacs.
