The whole thing lies on your area of interest, if you love your stream and want to become experts in it and want to explore it further and want to research and projects in it, then it would be good option, if you continue with your stream and pursue M.Tech in your respective field. On the other hand, if you no longer have any interest left in your respective stream then you should opt for MBA. There are different disciplines in which you can pursue MBA is Information technology, Hospital, and Healthcare Management, International Business, Tourism and hospitality, Supply chain and logistics, Financial markets, Banking and insurance, E-C

    Hi,
Since you've done B.Tech from a very reputed engineering college, I would suggest that for your post-graduation, you must go for MBA.
Make sure that you opt for the best B-school only. Take CAT and try for IIM.
7 years is a long gap to begin the education again, I've listed out some best B-schools you can try into:
    1) L M Thapar School of Management (LMTSM)
    2) FMS
    3) XLRI
    4) Christ university
    5) NMIMS
    All the best.
