Should I qualify CAT exam to pursue MBA from IIM or take GMAT exam to get admission in foreign universities for MBA?

Hi Dinesh, IIMs are equally good as MBA abroad as their approach is completely global. The only difference you will see is the global exposure and research training. You may try both and then decide if you get through.

It depends on you. Both have equal scope, so if you want to do MBA from IIM, it is good and also if you wants to do MBA from any foreign University, it is also good, so choose which suits you.

You can appear for CAT exam to pursue MBA from a decent college. If you want to get admission in IIM, then you need to get above 98 percentile in CAT exam. If you want to study abroad, then you can appear for GMAT exam.

Hi Dinesh, Qualifying CAT will let you pursue MBA from top colleges of India, whereas qualifying GMAT will let you pursue MBA from top colleges of abroad. Either way, its a great career opportunity. Try appearing for both of them. All the best.

If you don't meet the minimum academic criteria for MBA, you will not be selected for the WAT-PI round of any B-School. Meeting the minimum criteria of at least 50% marks in graduation (45% for reserved category candidates), is mandatory for admission.

No, candidates cannot get admission to a full-time MBA programme at a Tier 1 B-School with only the CAT score. They need to appear for and clear the WAT-PI round for admission too.
