Hello Akash! You can start preparing for CAT in your third year itself, but there is no need to join any coaching class as of now. For the time being, you can focus on improving your vocabulary(by reading good books, novels, editorial columns of leading newspapers, etc) and mental calculations. You

You can join in your final year, or after your engineering gets completed(by taking a drop if you wish). But do ensure that you balance both your engineering and CAT studies properly.
