Should I take a drop again for an NIT as I got 2 lakhs rank this year in JEE Mains and 3 lakhs rank (last year) with 87.8% in class 12th?

52 marks in 1st attempt and 59 marks in 2nd attempt UPSEE rank in the first attempt 30000 again 25000.

If you feel there was some good reason that you couldn't perform well in JEE, then only you should go for it. Because 2 years drop will make a big difference for your career as it will shift 2 years ahead. And there is no surety if you could perform well in the next year's attempt.

If you think you can qualify in 3rd attempt, then you can go for a drop, otherwise try private colleges or do something else.
