    Kindly predict your college in this college predictor. JEE Main rank predictor is an online tool which predicts the candidates rank range and probable colleges based on the difficulty level of the examination, average marks scored in JEE Main and seats available in IITs, NITs, GFTIs, and other SFTIs. The rank predicted might not be accurate but it certainly does give an idea to the aspirant.     It is totally your call. There are two possibilities-
    1. You have scored well in the first attempt and want to improve your score next year to get your dream college
    2. You have not cleared JEE in the first attempt and want to clear it at any cost next year irrespective of the college you get. Situation 1 is beneficial to take a drop because you know the syllabus and you know the weak areas that need improvement. In short, you just have to polish on-going JEE preparation whereas in situation 2 there is uncertainty. Now it depends upon how badly you want to clear this exam.     If you really wish to enter NIT and IIT institute or any other good reputed institute, then you should definitely opt for drop. But, for that you should have patience and hard work, and this will pay you off. Good luck.
