Should I take a drop to give one more attempt of JEE Mains to get an NIT or go to BIT, Durg instead for CSE? I have qualified Mains.

If you have confidence in yourself that you will stay away from all kind of distractions and totally focus on your studies then no one can stop you from scoring good marks in JEE and getting admission in NIT. But if you are not sure then go for computer science.
