Should I take a year drop or join a private engineering college?

<p>It's better to take admission in any UG college than to drop out for a year. Based on your score, if you just miss getting into the top IITs or NITs, I suggest you work hard for one more year. However, this does not happen for most students; only around 5-10% are successful. There are many top private institutions that are far better than some of the NITs, such as BITS, VIT, MIT, and others.</p><p>Also on the other hand, taking a year off can provide you with time to gain experience, explore your interests, or improve your skills. On the other hand, joining a private engineering college may offer a structured learning environment and the opportunity to begin your studies sooner.</p>
