Should I take a year drop or should I take admission in any private colleges?

I have not done well in JEE Mains .

Hi subhanu mishra, it's better to take admission in any UG college than dropping out for a year. Based on your score if you just miss into top iit's or nit's I suggest you to work hard for one more year but that does not happen for most of the students only around 5-10% are successful.
