    Cognizant : Usually the first company of the season(visits in August or Sept every year) recruited 329 , 610 ,550 candidates from 2014 ,15 ,16 batches respectively out of which 164, 270 , 211 students were from CSE department. Package: 3.15 lpa.
    AON Hewitt : Visited twice during November and then in Feb. recruited 24 and then 43 students out of which 8 and 27 students were from CSE. Package: 2.8 lpa.
    AMDOCS: Continually visiting from 2012 recruited 43 students out of which 29 were from CSE. Package: 3.6 lpa.
    Tech Mahindra : Visited for the first time for 2016 CSE batch. Hired 251 students with 2.8 lpa.

    If you are thinking of IT at LPU, its actually a solid choice. The course is updated with trending tech technologies, like AI, ML, cloud, etc. Placements for IT are also decent. The companies like Wipro, TCS, Capgemini, Accenture, etc. do visit, and some students even crack product-based roles.

    Hello,LPU for recruitment purposes. The university has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to placements of students. Around 550+ companies visit every year for campus-recruitment of students from LPU. LPU is an axis for Joint campus placement drives.     Definitely, I would recommend you to Join LPU. The placements at LPU are excellent. Many top recruiters visit the LPU campus to employ graduates, such as Amazon, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Capgemini, Bosch, TCS, and several other firms. Recently, a girl got placed at a package of 42 LPA. Moreover, Amazon recruited LPU students with 28 LPA. More than 650 companies visit LPU every year for recruitment with an average package of 4-10 LPA. Every year visiting companies escalate in number and till date University has recorded the highest placements in North India.

    CSE is best among all other branches at LPU. Do not feel concerned about the highest package that was offere in the past rather emphasize on the opportunities you can get at LPU. Trust me you will see a company daily in the campus for recruitment, in 2015 a total 64 companies visited the campus for CSE. Few of them are :
