Should I take admission in LPU in IT stream? , is placement is good for IT branch?

Cognizant : Usually the first company of the season(visits in August or Sept every year) recruited 329 , 610 ,550 candidates from 2014 ,15 ,16 batches respectively out of which 164, 270 , 211 students were from CSE department. Package: 3.15 lpa. AON Hewitt : Visited twice during November and then in Feb. recruited 24 and then 43 students out of which 8 and 27 students were from CSE. Package: 2.8 lpa. AMDOCS: Continually visiting from 2012 recruited 43 students out of which 29 were from CSE. Package: 3.6 lpa. Tech Mahindra : Visited for the first time for 2016 CSE batch. Hired 251 students with 2.8 lpa. LG Soft: Hired 6 students from CSE batch 2015 with 5.5 lpa. Verizon Data Services: Hired 8 students from CSE with 5 lpa Josh Technologies: Hired 7 students from CSE. Pkg : 6 lpa. Practo Technologies: Hired 3 CSE students. Pkg : 7.21 lpa Encyclopedia Britanica: Hired 2 students at 2.8 lpa HCL ISD : Hired 48 students out of which 27 were from CSE with 2.75 lpa. Frankly speaking the placements of the LPU CSE is best or you can say excellent when compared to the other universities of its class such as Amity, SRM, Jaypee or any other university PSG or Ramaiah. The investment at LPU is low if you score 70+ percentage in your boards.

Definitely, I would recommend you to Join LPU. The placements at LPU are excellent. Many top recruiters visit the LPU campus to employ graduates, such as Amazon, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Capgemini, Bosch, TCS, and several other firms. Recently, a girl got placed at a package of 42 LPA. Moreover, Amazon recruited LPU students with 28 LPA. More than 650 companies visit LPU every year for recruitment with an average package of 4-10 LPA. Every year visiting companies escalate in number and till date University has recorded the highest placements in North India. The University is making 100 percent efforts for their students by providing them placement oriented classes, starting their preparation from the first year but in the end it is the student's responsibility to clear the interviews

But the important question is you are required to study and maintain a required CGPA of at least 6.7 to sit for decent companies. I graduated in 2015 from LPU CSE department and I am working with Ernst and Young(EY) as a Data Analyst, below are the parameters I would like to rate LPU: Infrastructure: 5 massive. Exposer : 5 you will learn alot apart from studies. Faculty : 3. Some of the faculties are brilliant infact superb but at the same time you will find less qualified faculties also. Depends upon the section you get.
