Should I take admission in NIT-Tiruchirappalli or join IIT-Bhubaneswar?
-
Placement wise, NIT-T is better because it is well established, has experienced faculty, good alumni network, and more number of visiting companies. I don't think it makes sense to go after the IIT tag when your only goal is a good placement. I will strongly recommend NIT-T for this. But one thing I will like to say- your placement depends more on your individual skills than your college name. So work hard. No matter in which college you are, you wiil surely get good placement.
Best of luck. -
If you like lo join in IIT then prefer IIT Bhubaneswar. If not NIT Tiruchirappalli is best.

Those who cannot get into IITs will always speak of joining NIT or BITS, JEE Advanced requires high skill and intelligence to pass unlike JEE Mains or BITSAT where the questions are easy and pattern is repeated but time is less. So if you are getting IIT always take it. I know one friend who got 217 marks in JEE Mains but could not even pass JEE Advanced 2018. He will definitely get NIT Trichy, but not IIT Bhubaneswar. I have also got IIT Bhubaneswar in the first round of JOSAA 2018. My name is not Sherlock Holmes by the way.

7 years agoIf you have got the same branch in both the colleges, then it is up to you. NIT, Trichy is the best amongst all NITs and also, it stands at the same level of new IITs. NIT, Trichy has good placement record till date and excellent infrastructure.
