Should I take chemical in NIT, Durgapur or ECE in VIT, Vellore provided I have an equal interest in both? Which will have more opportunity?

Let me tell you one thing, only core NIT's have good placement all other are also fine, but not as good compared to VIT University, because VIT University offers good placements in CSE, IT, ECE branch and as compared to NIT Durgapur. My suggestion NIT, Durgapur. NIT, Durgapur has better ROI, less fees. Location wise both are same. As per portal information 60% student placed in chemical engineering and not much information about VIT ECE.
