If you have prepared well, you can go for the NET exam; otherwise, you can appear in the SET exam for your state. Due to the high level of competition, the NET exam usually has more difficult questions than the SET exam. Because the UGC NET is a national exam, if you pass it, you will be able to apply for assistant professor positions all over India. As a result, you can choose which exam to take based on your level of preparation and requirements. The syllabus and exam pattern are similar, and NET preparation can help you in the SET exam.
