Should LOR for UG students talk about strengths only or also touch upon the weaknesses of the candidate?

The letters of recommendation for undergraduate students should ideally focus on the strengths and qualities of the candidate with sufficient examples and evidences. Unless asked by the university to mention a weakness, there is no need to talk about it. Always remember that the LOR is supposed to p
