The seat allocation is purely based on your AIR and not on your state ranking.For NIT Kurukshetra,you will be considered for home state seats and for all other nits,you will be considered for other state seats.For more details,visit the CSAB website and download the information brochure wherein all the details are explained very clearly.Also refer to the previous year cutoffs which might vary this year.
