    Do you like the theoretical aspects of computer programming and algorithm design? Taking up Computer Science might be a great idea if this is the case. Take up software engineering if you're serious about making things from scratch. The focus of computer Science is more theoretical and research-oriented, whereas software engineering is more hands-on.
