I would recommend that as you study for your 10+2, you start practicing sketching to begin with. Try to observe things closely and sketch them. You can also buy good sketch books from the market for sketching including shading, shadows, and human figures. However, soon you may have to upgrade to more serious books like "The Animator's Survival Kit" by Richards William. Later on you may take up a Degree (multimedia and animation). Arena also offers such a Degree. However, if you're in a hurry, and if you're creative, you can always consider going for Design and Animation courses. However, you must first check if you're suited for Animation. Animation is an art form and a very demanding career. It has ample opportunities for the creatively talented people. Opportunities lie in animation design, game design, graphics, storyboarding, 3d modelling, texturing and lighting, Dynamics and VFX and of course animation. However, choosing between these must be done after seeing your performance in each of these. Typically you should have good sketching skills to be able to make a sound career in this (if you work hard you can improve your drawing skills tremendously). Yes, you can do animation after 10th class, but I would prefer you to start it after 12th class.

ha,ap kar sakte ho Animation.But apko yeh sochna hai ke after 10 or 10+2 kaunsa apke liye acha hoga.Normally 10th ke bad karne me koi problem nehi hai.Ye besically ek creative career hai,so koi previous knowledge vi apko nehi chahiye hoga.
