for ias exams you should be graduate as well as minimum 21 and maximum 30 years of age

Besides the minimum qualification of being a graduate you must be in the age limit of 21 to 30 years.

Dear Sanjay, You can start preparation for IAS exam directly. But minimum eligibility for IAS exam is Graduation.

HI,sorry.IAS have requirement that minimum gradation from any stream with 50%.Your school or college have approved by UGC or AICTE.

Hi Sanjay,
IAS is one of the premier services in the Indian Government and to get in the same, one would require to be a graduate as a minimum qualification and the maximum age limit is 30 years.
I would suggest you to first concentrate on your present i.e. to complete your 12th with good percenta

u should have bachelor degree .... after completion of 12th simultaneously u prepare for civil service exams ur saying that ur frm commerce so prfer commerce in ur bachelor degree and prepare civil services at same time ....it will b helpful nd also time savin one

yes sanjay u can prepare for the exams but right now u r not eligible for it.first complete ur 12th exams n then decide which subject will be better for you so that you can clear i.a.s.exams with gud marks.if you are good in commerce then take it otherwise choose other arts subject whichever you thi
