Dear Bhasker, To the best of my knowledge, if you have a minimum of 85 percentile in the JEE-Mains, only then you can apply for admission at LPU based on the JEE Mains. Moreover, you can also qualify for the LPU NEST exam if you cannot fulfill the eligibility based on JEE Mains. LPU offers more than 200+ programmes every year in different fields including economics, law, performing arts, management, engineering, fashion design, journalism, and zoology. Honestly, you won't get admission in LPU with such a low score, but don't get disappointed, because there is an option called LPU-NEST, which is LPU's very own entrance exam. If you can crack that, then you can have LPU.

You can't get admission in LPU with such low score in Mains, but if I had scored good marks in class 12th, then you can directly take admission. Once just go through the helpline number.

  • Dear Bhaskar,
With 46 marks in JEE Mains, you can't get admission in B.Tech, you need to have at least 74 marks in JEE. The eligibility of B.Tech is pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU-NEST or JEE Mains (74 marks). Or
In case marks scored in 10+2 are 90% or above, then LPU-NEST or JEE Mains will be exempted and candidates may apply for admission. For more information, visit LPU camp office in your town:
