Sir, I got 80% in 10th, 57% in 12th and 6.7 CGPA in engineering. What is the percentile needed to get a call from IIFM?

Hello Devarshi, It's indeed nice to know that you are interested in joining this Institute. It's a bit different career but those who like it, thoroughly enjoy the same. For getting admission a student needs to appear for the CAT conducted by IIM's. I feel a percentile of 80 should get you admission in this place. Best wishes.

Hi Devarshi, Hope you did well in CAT. Academic grades would not affect your chance of getting a PI call from IIFM if you clear the cut off of 50-75 percentile as per your category. We will be able to help you better if you could specify your category while asking such questions. Also, wait for XAT results if you have taken the test. Good luck.

Hi Devarshi, You haven't mentioned, if you are from a reserved category or a general candidate. Anyways, CAT cutoff for general hovers around 75-80 percentile and is lower for reserved categories. Also, academics do not hold any weightage in the selection process you just need to have more than 50% in your graduation degree. Admissions are through CAT/XAT. Hope this helps.
