No, the CISCE board does not require the use of NCERT books for ISC exams. While some ISC students may find NCERT books helpful for understanding concepts or preparing for entrance exams, the ISC curriculum has its own prescribed textbooks and doesn't mandate NCERT books as a requirement.

Admission to ISC (Indian School Certificate) is for Class 11 and Class 12, not typically based on your 12th score, as ISC itself is a 12th-grade board exam. Perhaps you mean admission to a college or university after your 12th ISC scores? If so, yes, your ISC 12th score is the primary academic criterion for college admissions in India and abroad. Colleges will assess your percentage/grades, and often entrance exam scores if applicable, to determine your eligibility.

Yes, you can get admission to BTech courses at Dhanalakshmi College of Engineering without completing 12th from the ISC board. To be eligible for the course, the candidate needs to have a minimum of 50% marks in Class 12th in a relevant stream. The student can complete Class 12 from any recognised board, including CBSE, state board, or ISC. Eligible candidates will also have to appear for the TNEA counseling and score a valid rank to secure admission to the course.
