Sir, I have my brother who has completed his Diploma in Industrial Electronics. He wants to pursue an engineering degree through "Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering(IETE)". Is the degree recognised? What about the job prospects? How does it stand with a degree from any regular universities like the Pune University? Another question is, How is the scope for "Technical Writing" as far as Diploma holders are concerned? What is the typical start salary? Is it an unstable job(in recession)? Well, is there any separate training to be undertaken or there are some companies who train on induction? Please reply
