Sir, I have passed out class 12th this year from medical with 91% marks in (PCB) + Computer Sciences. Can I pursue for Economics (Hons)?

I have given medical entrance exams but I dont think I'll be able to get through. please guide me that what subjects should I take so that i get a good scope . my parents suggest me to drop for 1 year and try for medical. But I dont want to drop.I want to study science only if i get into medical.
