prepare for UPSC exam , you can fill form in Feb month and ist exam CSAT held in june month , in which you have to prepare for general study , math and english for ist exam , you can refer tata macgraw hill or spectrum, second exam is main exam , in which you have to choose two subject as per mentio

For IPS you have to appear in Civil Services Exam and depending on your rank you get the service such as IAS, IFS, IPS, IRS etc. UPSC conducts the exam. For more information u can visit the upsc website www.upsc.gov.in
