its all depend on which institute you are pursuing your course (on which mode) and its also depend on your academic records,after M Phil you will definitely get a better job.

MPhil used to enjoy some consideration in the earlier days, but these days there are no special incentives for it given by the UGC.Ph.D is much better and appearing for NET is one important step.
