sir i want to know the definition of ex-service man according to ex-serviceman rules 1979(for civil services and posts)
i am serving in army since 2005 i am an ias aspirant my date of birth is 01/06/1983 i want to appeat for civil services exam 2013. have completed 5 yrs of service.

There may be a ruling regarding the contents of the Discharge Book, which explains the definition.
