IELTS is a test which need to be taken by al the international students whose first or native language is not English.
In order to pursue MBA from universities abroad, you need to have:
Good academic record, preferably 60% plus in graduation.
Relevant undergraduate degree from recognized university.
IELTS score of 6-7 bands plus.
    GMAT score of 500-600 plus.

IELTS is must , but if you have scored around 75% in your 10th and 12th English, then college may waive you off. But again depends on the college, All the best colleges or universties do require IELTS . Go join some insititue and get this done becouse IELTS is mandatory for the visa purpose as you won't be able to get student visa if you don't appear for IELTS.
For detailed information on visa requirements please check with Student Visa in UK

There are few colleges that allow you to take admission without IELTS score. However, the colleges that does not require IELTS score are not as competitive as the ones that require it. So, I would recommend you to take the exam so as to get admitted into a good UK you have many universities that pick students without IELTS.
