Sir, is mechanical engineering good at VIT, Vellore? I have got a seat in category 1. Is VIT, Vellore best for mechanical?

Here, the placement is decent enough with the packages on an average of 5-6 LPA. The dream packages of around 22-25 LPA (which only 2-3 get from CSE). For the mechanical, the best one can expect in core companies is hardly 20 LPA, and on an average, it touches around 3-4 LPA.
