you have three parts to clear prelims, mains& interview after that you'll be under trainning for 36 months with paid salary. after completing your trainning you will be recruited as senior secretary, counseller or something else. this is all regarded with indian foreign service(IFS)

1. Preliminary examinations
The prelims are held around May-June.It has objective ie multiple choice questions. There are two papers (duration of each being 2 hrs).
a) General studies
b) Optional subject
