Sir/Ms i am doing my btech in mechanical engineering but i am keen in joining civil services so i am planning to do MA in interntnl affairs.

Is it i good option or i am going nowhere......what do u suggest

    Hi,
    1. Well you have not mentioned any exam in particular like IAS or IPS or SSC, yet the examination pattern is same for all as the conducting body is one. There would be two papers in prelims- Reasoning Aptitude and English Comprehension. Followed by the main exam that would entirely be subjective.
    2. To be eligible to sit for UPSC Exam, one needs to be:
    An Indian National Citizen
    A graduate in any discipline from a recognized university and
    In the age limit of 21-30 years

    The UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) of India conducts the exam and on the basis of the result IAS, IPS, IFS officers are selected. I would request aru.chopra to give you detailed information about IAS.
