Also in my personal experience, even waited for the same, but it took time for the cut off to come so I took admission in one of the top university for engineering in Punjab, I have done my Civil Engineering from Chandigarh University, Mohali Punjab I chose CU because of its NAAC A+ grade and top NIRF ranking. JEE Main is a computer-based online test conducted by National Testing Agency for students aspiring to pursue undergraduate courses in top engineering institutes in India.
