    Hi Vinayender, India holds a UPSC examination every year and on the basis of this examination a number of IAS officers are recruited. Indian Administrative Services is basically meant for those aspiring candidates who have strong dedication towards the country.
    For preparation I would advise you to:
    -start preparing for IAS exam at least 12 months in advance for prelims as well as mains.
    -routinize your day effectively.
    -choose the right options for IAS exam. Don’t just go after the popular options as all options are equally scoring provided you’re interested in them.

    Hi Vinayender,
    As far as preparation is concerned as IAS Examination is tough nut to crack it would be advisable that you should join a coaching Institute, however, if you want to do self study in that case you need to keep yourself updated on current affairs (read News papers, watch news channels) & work on your language skills (read novels). You should also work on your own core subjects as you need to opt for an optional subject which can be from your own stream.
