So what if I fail in maths and pass the rest 5 subjects. Will I be considered pass?
I have 6 subjects in my class 12th which were- physics, chemistry, maths, english, physical education and painting.

Maths, Physics and Chemistry are the main subject of 12th PCM stream. So for clearing 12th you must have to pass all these subjects. So you will be considered as failed.
