You can take up either a Diploma or Certificate course or even degree program as per your choice. Disciplines in sports - athletics, basketball, football, gymnastics, hockey, swimming, volleyball, wrestling, and weightlifting. A degree course in physical education in recognized sports events will also be helpful. Candidates with MBBS degree can take up a two-year diploma course in Sports Medicine or Sports Journalism is another good option. After acquiring training in various sports academies, you can opt for building a career as a sportsperson and play at different levels. Apart from serving as a player, with experience, you can also work as a coach, team manager, fitness instructor, umpire/referee, sports journalist/commentator, sports photographer, sports equipment supplier/manufacturer, and consultant.
