The SSC CGL 2023 test will only be offered in two stages. To be appointed, the candidates must pass both rounds of testing. The SSC CGL exam pattern was updated by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) in order to speed up the hiring process. The descriptive Tier 3 exam is not included in the exam procedure, and the DEST has been combined with the Tier 2 exam. It is unclear if this alteration to the SSC CGL exam pattern is momentary or long-term.
