study abroad visa problems

completed engg course back in 2008, have arrears and not planning to complete it. have 2yrs work exp now, am planning to change career and planning to study bachelors in accounting/finance abroad. heard that obtaining a visa will be a problem due to engg arrears even though 'm trying for a bachelors

    Hi,
    As per your profile I would suggest you to clear your backlogs first and then opt for further studies.
    Even though you wish to pursue undergraduate degree in different field, the VISA officer might ask you, the reasons for not clearing your backlogs.
    So to avoid the chances of getting VISA reject you should definitely clear all your backlogs as soon as possible.
