8 years agoNCERT books are sufficient for clearing the basic concepts but its always good to also cover certain advanced books to achieve good score in JEE mains . Some of the books that you can refer are
1. Higher Algebra - author : Hall and Knight
2. Fundamentals of Physics - author: Halliday, Resnick and Walker
3. Concepts of Physics - author: H C Verma
4. Problems in General Physics - author: IE Irodov
5. Organic Chemistry - author: Morrison and Boyd
6. Inorganic Chemistry - author: J D Lee
7. RD Sharma - for mathematics
Also solve previous year JEE papers. -

6 years agoIf I tell honestly, not even a single question is out of NCERT. Just go through NCERT five or six times and you could clear this exam. -
You need these book:
Loney's Coordinate Geometry and Trigonometry
Hall and Steven's Geometry
Hall and Knight's Elementary Algebra and Higher Algebra
Calculus by GP Thomas
University Physics by Resnick and Halliday
University Physics by Sear Zemansky
Problem in Physics, Irodov
Organic Chemistry by Morrison Boyd
NCERT book should be studied first.
