Let the two numbers be x and y (x&get;y) According questions x+y=35. (1) And x-y=13. (2) Adding eq (1) and eq (2), we have 2x=48 =&get; x=48/2 =24 From (1), y=35-x=35-24=11 Therefore: the required numbers are 24 and 11.
