You may go for biotechnology, bioinformatics, biochemistry, food technology, agriculture etc with maths other than all engineering options.

Can I take up genetic engineering and how should I start preparing from now only??

You can join Medical. Other than that you can go with B.Sc.CBZ, Microbiology, Biotech. Forensic Science and many more
