Talking about the current situation, who earns more- a VFX artist or a producer in the VFX company? What are the qualifications for both?

I'm in my 3rd year of UG in CS. I took VFX because of interest. I'm looking for a good pay. I want to convince my parents about the field. Please tell me how.

Talking about salary of VFX Artist, it all depends on upon your capabilities and imagination to make the end product look ultra professional. And if you are a fresher then salary would be in the range of 8-15k. Once you got the good experience in this field you can earn a lot more than you think. I've heard about some guys with 5 years of experience and they are earning 70 K per month. It is a growing course. And now talking about the Executive producer, earns an average salary of Rs. 800,000 per year. Most people with this job move on to other positions after 20 years in this career. Experience strongly influences income for this job.
