When recession will ultimately set in, you will not get jobs in any field whatsoever. Outlook for telecom is bright. And about jobs in Telecom Engineering, look at Naukri.com. I could see hundreds of jobs in that field there.

Hi Yogesh, telecom is in itself a big sector but it is just that it is one of the derived sector rather than a core discipline and this could be the reason why you do not get to see major employee recruitment taking place, but do not lose hope as this is said to be one of the fastest growing sectors in the country. -

Telecom sector is very well performing sector and moreover the govt. is planning to remove the entry barriers for the new entrants. This would create more jobs and employment opportunities. -
