hI mINAKSHI, YOU ARE ELIGIBLE FOR NET PROVIDED YOU HAVE MORE THAN 55% OF MARKS IN YOUR PG. THERE IS A CHANGE IN THE PATTERN OF EXAM AND THE CHANGED PATTERN IS DISPLAYED IN THE UGC WEB SITE. YOU CAN LOG ON AND DOWNLOAD THE SYLLABUS AS WELL AS THE PATTERN. I'D ADVISE YOU TO PREPARE YOUR OWN STUDY MAT

Hi Minakshi,
The eligibility to get into PhD programme in India is to have a Masters degree from a recognized University with 55% and above marks (the aggregate marks can vary from University to University) as you have a Masters degree from a recognized university you are eligible for PhD. Same Eli
