Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU) is empowered to award degrees as specified by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 22 of the UGC Act 1956. The MGU is accorded Regular Recognition by the Distance Education Council (DEC), an apex body for the Open and Distance Learning (ODL) system in the country, and Joint Committee of UGC-AICTE-DEC. it is approved by UGC , there is no need to approval of MBA with AICTE , today only technical courses need to approved by AICTE and university can not approve by AICTE it is approve only by UGC only course in running in university approved by AICTE
