The admissions for MCA are done by using the same entrance score which is used for M.Sc. (Comp. Science. ). Is this true?

Please write about the college/ University name for better response. However the national level entrance exams for MCA are NIMCET and AIMCET. While the major admission in M.Sc. Computer Science are based on merit in qualifying exams and done through the respective Universities.
