    The Foundation level is the entry-level certification which offers you a general awareness of the key elements, concepts, and terminology used in the ITIL service lifecycle, including the links between lifecycle stages, the processes used and their contribution to service management practices.
    The quickest way to check if the ITIL Foundation will provide any value for you is to check the job listings for the types of role that you ideally want to work in. As you've seen, it's not a big deal for a company to teach you ITIL, but going into an interview with the certification already on your CV might give you the edge over another candidat
